2010: Liturgical Revival

We're entering a third year of our Right Onward experience. This year, our purpose is to Gather to Worship, Service, Listen, Pray, and Sing. We seek to honor tradition and change.

We began in early January 2010, with Spiritual Growth Through Music: Macadamias and Chestnuts, led by the Reverend Philip Carr-Jones at Trinity Cathedral. We then gathered for Learning for All through Worship: Christian Educator’s Day in mid-January again at Trinity Cathedral. On that same day — a wealth of opportunities! — former Presiding Bishop Frank Griswold led a retreat day for the Atlantic Convocation.

In February, the Reverend Greg Bezilla and the Reverend Deborah Meister led a Lenten retreat for adults from 18 to 35 called The Interior Castle.

For Pentecost, we're planning a diocesan-wide Eve of Pentecost Vigil at Trinity Church in Princeton on Saturday, 22 May, at 6pm. Download a one-page flyer here.

As we head into the autumn, we offer a series of workshops, events, and retreats focused on liturgical revival.
