Founded 1854 Rector The Reverend Douglas Anderson, SSC Parishioners 250 Three words to describe the parish Traditional, warm, Gospel-centered Why
visit Christ Church is a friendly parish community. We often
have families with up to four generations at worship on a given Sunday.
But we also open our arms wide to newcomers. We are nurtured in the
faith through a number of things: rich ceremonial, liturgical music
and a strong program of Christian formation for both adults and children. Accomplishment you’re proud of Over a number of years, we’ve built a program of physical renewal to parallel our program of spiritual renewal. Our property—which covers an entire city block—has been landscaped. And we’ve refurbished many of our appointments and installed a new stained-glass window. Beginning in the summer of 2002, we will start a comprehensive renovation of our Christian education wing. Key event in history We very strongly believe that the best years of this parish are ahead of us! Greatest challenge I’d say it’s to communicate the love of Jesus that we experience within our parish family to those outside of our doors. To find ways to put the Great Commission into practice. Theme
hymn I’d say that “Faith of Our Fathers”
fits us very well. Back
