Ann is seeking content for the y.a. pages, including calendar items and news related to young adult events, programs and people. If your congregation is sponsoring any events or programs for young adults (e.g. Bible & Burgers; Theology on Tap; Young Adult Fellowship Meal), please forward that information to her. If you have images of young adult involvement or leadership in your congregation, please send those as well. Your suggestions are very welcome! Your prayers are bid for the students, parents, and school community. It may be a time also to reflect on what we would we do should such an incident occur in a school near us or for some of our families. Our disaster chaplaincy in New York did a study of the 9-11 workers and found unexpectedly that statistically more post traumatic stress syndrome showed up among those farthest from the incident itself. http://www.wbir.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=62505&provider=topStories&provider=email&provider=email Peace and blessings, Joe Parrish St. John's, Elizabeth, NJ http://sjnj.org From thebarones at verizon.net Thu Aug 28 16:00:26 2008 From: thebarones at verizon.net (Andrew/Christy Barone) Date: Thu Aug 28 16:00:33 2008 Subject: [NJ Forum] Post listings Message-ID: Name: Christy Barone e-mail: thebarones@verizon.net home parish: Trinity, Cranford From noreen.duncan at att.net Fri Aug 29 15:04:17 2008 From: noreen.duncan at att.net (noreen.duncan@att.net) Date: Fri Aug 29 15:04:25 2008 Subject: [NJ Forum] Post listings In-Reply-To: Message-ID: <082920081904.15485.48B848310001990200003C7D22243651029B0A02D29B9B0EBF020E0C029A0BD2020A0A9D0102@att.net> No message with this email. -------------- Original message from "Andrew/Christy Barone" : -------------- > Name: Christy Barone > e-mail: thebarones@verizon.net > home parish: Trinity, Cranford > _______________________________________________ You received this email because you are subscribed to the Diocese of New Jersey > Forum mailing list, > Forum@mail.newjersey.anglican.org > See http://newjersey.anglican.org/mailman/listinfo/forum
