A series of six oil paintings
by Corinne Peters and Ruth Councell

Commissioned especially for “NO MORE IN MY CHURCH!”
An Anti-racism Conference of the Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey
Held November 19, 2005 at Trinity Cathedral, Trenton

Corinne Collymore Peters expresses her art as a painter who prefers the medium of oils. She earned professional degrees in painting at St. John's University in New York, and in Florence, Italy at Villa Schifanoia, Graduate School of Fine Arts, and earned a MBA from Pace University's Graduate School of Business in New York.

Corinne has exhibited her paintings in New York, New Jersey, Florence, Italy and Paris, France in both group exhibitions and one-woman shows and has a website, www.corinnepeters.com, to show her work. Many of the subjects for her paintings have religious themes, and present the reinterpretation of familiar events from the perspective of a woman.
