PART-TIME ORGANIST/CHOIR DIRECTOR

St Mark and All Saint’s Church, a small Episcopal church in Galloway, NJ, located just inland from Atlantic City, is looking for a part time organist/choir director to work with its adult and Sunday school choirs. ( The second is a small group that sings an anthem during services approximately once a month.) Rehearsals have traditionally been held at 9:00 am on Sunday for the adult choir with a short rehearsal after the 10:30 service for the children.

Our primary instrument is a 2 manual and pedal, 14 rank, 1982 Mudler-Hunter Pipe Organ. There is also a piano in the sanctuary for use for practices and occasional pieces during services when applicable.

ORGANIST/CHOIR DIRECTOR

St. Mary’s Church, Stone Harbor, is searching for an organist / choir director. Duties include one choir rehearsal per week and providing music for one Service each Sunday and other Services for which music may be required. Sunday Service music includes organ prelude and postlude and choir anthem, to be chosen with the other Service music and submitted to parish secretary on a monthly basis. Other duties include maintaining a music library, meeting with Rector on a regular basis for liturgical planning, developing a children’s choir, and playing for weddings and funerals as available. DIRECTOR OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION AND FORMATION

St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, Bridgewater is seeking the services of a part time Director of Christian Education and Formation (DCE&F) to serve as a resource to support, foster and manage the congregation’s Church School and Journey to Adulthood ministry, grades 4 through 12, and look for opportunities to expand beyond current programs to promote St. Martin’s growth.

Qualifications for the position include a mix of education, experience and enthusiastic appreciation and familiarity with Episcopal beliefs and practices.

Salary $16K - $20K depending on qualifications.
